Courses such as criminal law; wills, trusts and estates; and real estate will provide you with legal research and writing skills, knowledge of how to prepare for a trial, and an understanding of legal terminology. Graduates can work in positions such as Paralegal, legal office secretary or legal administrative assistant.

Legal Administrative Assistant Program

2-Year Associate in Specialized Business Degree

CSB’s Legal Administrative Assistant program is designed for students to develop advanced level office, communications, and computer technology skills. Students also develop working knowledge of the legal terminology and office procedures involved in working in a legal office.

The coursework offers students the opportunity to learn legal research methods, to prepare trial and appellate procedures, and to draft legal documents. Students are also introduced to various fields of substantive law such as civil and criminal litigation, wills, trusts and estates, and family law.
